Tour Plan
After arrival, meet and greet our Representative at Zanzibar Airport transfer to Stone Town and check in at the hotel of your
choice and overnight
At 08h00 trip to Spice Tour. On this tour, you will see and taste the tropical fruits, and visit spice plantations or plots on the island. A
variety of spice plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits, and other interesting flora can be seen during spice tours and
if you have time, you will visit Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (Granddaughter of Fateh
Ali Shah of Persia).
After the spice tour, we shall drive to Stone Town for a walking City Tour that takes us around the historical culture and architectural
town of Zanzibar with a century of history. It includes a visit to the former slave market site, which now stands as an Anglican church
built in 1871, a town market, the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, the House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort,
Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center).
This tour starts from the shore of Stone Town two hours before sunset.
After you step onboard the vessel, the skilled crew on board take the dhow away from the shore by means of an engine, once out in the sea
the engine is shut off and during a tense moment the skillful crew puts up the sail, once the sail is in favor of the wind, the guest can sit
back, relax, and enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean as you hear the ripple of water on the sides of the dhow as it glides swiftly through the
clear turquoise water.
Your breath will be taken away by the wonder of the fiery golden sun setting beyond the horizon as it makes the sky a magical canvas of
shades of pink, purple, blue, and orange. As you head back for a stone town the wind gently blows into the lateen sail which is truly
mesmerizing.
Have some leisure with the Hotel till the time for your transfer to the Airport to catch your flight back home (Pickup will depend
on the flight departure time).
