At 08h00 trip to Spice Tour. On this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits and another interesting flora can be seen during spice tour and if you will have a time, you will visit Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (Grand daughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia).

After the spice tour we shall drive to stone town where you will have the Stone Town City Tour and take you around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center). It is the only remaining natural forest on Unguja island where long ago you could find leopards and antelopes. At present, it is the habitat for the Red Colobus Monkeys (Colobus badius kirkii) and the Blue Sykes Monkey. The Red Colobus monkey is one of the most endangered and rarest species on the planet.

The Red Colobus monkey that are found in this Forest are very friendly and love to be photographed and can be viewed at close quarters by the help of your guide.

Other interesting features in this forest include the coastal evergreen bushland, mangrove forest, saline grassland and ground water forest, though these may require longer walks to reach.

explore a seaweed farm, and meet with a real witch doctor! This half-day excursion takes you to the village of Jambiani, where you’ll get to experience authentic rural Zanzibar life. This tour is planned in cooperation with the village and includes a donation to the community.

On this tour, you’ll gain an understanding of local life and culture in rural Zanzibar. You’ll get to meet an eclectic mix of people,each practicing different cultural traditions in Jambiani village.

This area is one of the main areas for seaweed farming in Zanzibar. You can always find local women at the beach during low tide, gathering seaweed. Today, there is also a soap factory that uses seaweed as its main ingredient. On this tour, you’ll visit a seaweed farm and learn about the harvest.

You’ll also learn about other aspects of rural life here, by visiting a female pottery and handicrafts group, as well as a local school. Among other things, you’ll learn the process of making rope from coconut fiber.

Lastly, this tour includes a visit to a local witch doctor. This shaman is said to be able to protect you from bad spirits and make all your sufferings go away, using traditional rituals and herbs.

We’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant where you’ll get to try authentic Zanzibari cuisine, seasoned with delicious spices and herbs.
