Tour Plan
After arrival, meet and greet by our Representative at Zanzibar Airport and transfer to North or East beach for check-in at the hotel of your choice, evening leisure and overnight
Morning at 09:00am have the Stone Town City Tour takes around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center)
At 2:00pm driving to Spice Tour. On this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits and another interesting flora can be seen during spice tour and visit to Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (granddaughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia, back to the hotel
At 9:00am have a boat trip to Prison Island and Sand Bank, This tour starts from the shore of stone town where you depart in a Swahili dhow for Prison Island to visit the ruins and giant tortoises. You will then sail to Pange island (sand bank), this nowhere island is covered twice a day by high tide. This astonishing white sandy bank is surrounded by clear crystalline warm water, an ideal place to relax with only the sound of the waves as they lightly crash and disappear at the edges of the bank and few sea birds that come to catch the tiny ghost crabs that roam the sandbank. Snorkeling is not to be missed as you will discover the treasures of the coral reef beneath the ocean. During this trip you will be offered a variety of local fresh fruits, beverages, snacks lunch of swahili cuisine and other soft drinks. Back to your hotel
Day is spent at leisure
Don’t feel sad if you’re not a diver! A snorkeling trip to Mnemba Island will definitely satisfy all your wishes to experience a magical underwater world! Jump on board and explore the life and beauty that can be found in the turquoise waters of Zanzibar! Snorkeling is a fun activity for young and old and does not require any previous experience. There is a huge variety of marine life to discover. You might even see some dolphins! Join us for an ultimate snorkel experience at Mnemba Atoll! Swim in the turquoise waters and surround yourself by the tropical fish from the Indian Ocean. During your snorkel trip, we visit two different snorkel sites at Mnemba Atoll. An experienced snorkeling guide will be showing you all the beautiful fish and marine life that can be found in the reefs of Zanzibar. You might even get the chance to swim with the bottlenose dolphins! (80% chance).
This full-day trip is the perfect getaway. Our traditional dhow boat or speedy boat takes you out snorkeling and swim with dolphins after which we have a beach relaxations! With low tide, we can visit the beautiful sandbank next to Mnemba. The white sandy beach and clear blue water make your pictures look like the most perfect postcard. Explore the colorful reefs of Mnemba atoll during the snorkeling session in the warm and clear water of the Indian Ocean! On the boat, we serve soft drinks, fruit and delicious local snacks. Take pictures on the stunning sandbank (only by the low tide). There is time to relax on one of the most beautiful beaches of Zanzibar.. This is the most popular snorkeling spot in Zanzibar and dozens of boats go there each day. Watch out for other snorkelers and swimmers when you are in the water.
Day is spent at leisure
This tour starts from the shore of Stone Town two hours before sunset.
After you step onboard the vessel, the skilled crew on board take the dhow away from the shore by means of an engine, once out in the sea the engine is shut off and during a tense moment the skilful crew put up the sail, once the sail is in favour of the wind, the guest can sit back, relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean as you hear the ripple of water on the sides of the dhow as it glides swiftly through the clear turquoise water.
Your breath will be taken away by the wonder of the fiery golden-sun setting beyond the horizon as it makes the sky a magical canvas of shades of pinks, purples, blues and orange. As you head back for stone town the wind gently blows into the lateen sail which is truly mesmerizing.
Have some leisure with the Hotel till the time for the transfer to the Airport to catch your flight back home (Pickup will depend on the flight departure time).
